An "ESCHAR" is a DEBRIS SCAB. WHAT IS TATT2AWAY?
Tatt2Away® is a non-laser tattoo removal method that uses the body’s natural healing process to lift and remove tattoo ink from the skin. This precision dermabrasion technique creates small, controlled abrasions over unwanted tattoos, allowing the body's natural healing process to expel the ink particles safely from the body. This process is coupled with a proprietary solution (called TEPRSOL), to help aid in the tattoo removal process. Tatt2Away® is effective on all ink colors, works on cosmetic ink and permanent makeup, and is suitable for all skin types, offering a safer alternative to traditional laser removal with reduced risk of scarring when aftercare is followed. Most clients have full removal in 3-5 sessions, with up to 35% of the ink being removed from the body after each treatment. NOTE: Each 3x4 Template requires 3-5 Sessions for full removal.
THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND TATT2AWAY - What is TEPR?
Trans-Epidermal Pigment Release (TEPR) is a non-laser tattoo removal technique used by Tatt2Away®. This innovative method focuses on removing tattoo ink through the epidermis, rather than relying on traditional laser treatments to remove the ink through the body’s lymphatic system. Tatt2Away® treatments utilize specialized equipment, including a handpiece with a sterile disposable TEPR brush cartridge and a proprietary TEPR solution. The handpiece allows for precise application of the solution and controlled abrasions to release the ink particles from the skin.
How TEPR Works at the Cellular Level
Tatt2Away®’s tattoo removal device makes small, controlled, and strategic abrasions on the tattooed skin in a dot pattern, to expose the underlying tattoo ink. These abrasions disrupt the ink particles embedded in the dermis, bringing them closer to the skin’s surface. TEPRSOL is applied on top of the tattoo during each treatment, which helps loosen the bonds between the ink in a tattoo and the skin, so that removal is quicker, safer, and more effective.
After each session, the body’s natural healing process kicks in. As the skin heals, it expels the disrupted ink particles through the epidermis, using a scab. The ink is removed from the body once the scab falls off.
New skin cells regenerate after the scabs fall off, replacing the old cells that contained the tattoo ink. This process gradually removes the tattoo as more ink is removed each session.

Initial Consultation and FREE Skin Assessment
Our team will always provide a no-cost consultation (valued at $100) to assess your tattoo and skin type to determine the suitability of the procedure. Safe and effective tattoo removal is always our main goal!
Our tattoo removal specialist will discuss your medical history, any skin conditions, and what results you are looking for (we can do full removal, partial removal, or removal for a cover-up)!
Our team will provide you with an overview of the procedure, expected results, the number of sessions needed, and all post-care instructions.
Skin Preparation
On the day of your first session, your tattoo will be thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt, oil, or bacteria.
A topical anesthetic may be applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure, but not always. We do not provide numbing agents at this location.
Please make sure to keep your tattoo out of the sun for at least 2 weeks before your first session, and throughout your tattoo removal journey.
Application of the Tatt2Away Device
Tatt2Away®’s precision dermabrasion device will be used to create a dot-pattern of tiny, controlled circular abrasions over the tattooed area. During the treatment, Tatt2Away®’s 100% natural proprietary solution, TEPRSOL, will be applied over the treated area.
The abrasions that are created during treatment penetrate the epidermis to reach the dermal layer where the tattoo ink sits in the skin.
Tatt2Away®’s method targets and disrupts the ink particles, loosening the ink from the skin and bringing the ink closer to the skin’s surface.
Post-Procedure Care:
After each session, your treated tattoo will be cleaned and covered with a sterile dressing to protect it from infection.
Our tattoo removal specialist will provide detailed aftercare instructions for you to follow over the coming weeks, including how to clean the area, what to avoid, and signs of potential complications to watch for.
It's crucial to keep the area dry and avoid exposure to the sun or submersion in water until your treated tattoo is fully healed. Please also avoid picking at scabs or peeling skin to prevent scarring.
